What is the Outreach Ministry?

The Outreach Ministry reaches beyond our sanctuary walls with the good news.  We usually share the message in a public setting and strive to find creative ways to encourage people to be part of our Christian community.

Jazz in the Park, a health fair at the Juneteenth celebration in the Douglass Community, putting leaflets on doors to invite people to NEBC’s Easter service, and handing out donuts, coffee and religious tracts to walkers at the Martin Luther King Jr. parade in Plano are just some of our activities.

Mission Trips

Mission Mexico August 1 – 7, 2009

The Lord has provided NEBC members with a wonderful opportunity to travel to San Miguel Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico August 1 – 7, 2009.  We are very excited to have a chance like this to spread the Gospel message and also thrilled to be traveling with a great group of individuals.  NEBC will be partnering up with North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship Church (NDCBF) this year.

Our purpose for this trip is to witness to those who have not heard the Good News of Jesus Christ as well as encourage and disciple other believers.  We will minister to Children, Youth, Adults and the Unsaved in hopes of encouraging and adding new converts to the Kingdom.

Our host will be Mission Mexico and the Driscoll family who have been ministering in Mexico for over a decade.  It is a predominantly Catholic area, and official statistics state that less than .01% of the people are considered Christians.   Among the various Mexican- Indian tribes that include the Pame, Otami and Chichimecas, the number is less than .002%!
 

We would like you to partner with us in this effort to reach the ends of the earth for God’s glory by praying for us in the following areas:

• For safe travels
• That we would be sensitive to God’s work and join Him at every opportunity
• That we are led by God’s plan and not our own
• That Multitudes will be eternally impacted by our Christian example 

Currently, there are three Northeast Bible Church members, eight North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship, and one Rockbridge member committed to attend.
