The concept of the NEBC Advisory Board (NAB) is based on a belief in the importance and power of shared leadership.   Church members, staff, leadership, and administration, can work together to set direction and determine policy in accordance with the mission of the church.

The first and foremost function of the NAB is to provide advice and assistance to the Pastor in the development of policy.   The Board is comprised of appointed members who operate at the discretion and approval of the Senior Pastor.

By "advisory" is meant that board members offer their experience and expertise to strengthen the decision making process.  Their scope of responsibility may include but is not limited to planning, policy development, finance, public and human relations marketing, and evaluation.  The board is encouraged to suggest topics for deliberation and helps to set directional church agendas.
