D’Aunn Jennings is nervous and excited about the opportunity to direct Northeast Bible Church’s Singles Ministry, also known as iThrive. She hopes to grow the ministry by connecting with other singles and helping them develop individually and collectively for the glory of God. D’Aunn (pronounced DEE-on) was born in Texas, grew up in Ohio and made her way back to the Lone Star State, where she currently resides in Plano. Her passion for ministry lies in creating environments that allow others to see Christ in all areas and cultivate spiritual growth. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from The University of Oklahoma.  D’Aunn gives thanks to her mother, Jeanette Orr, and grandmother, Lillie Orr, for introducing her to Jesus as a child, although she didn’t accept him as her Lord and Savior until after graduating from college.

NEBC’s family atmosphere combined with Pastor Bob Rice’s teaching-preaching style led her to join the church around 2012.  Always eager to help however she can, D’Aunn dove right in. She has served on the Outreach team, helped coordinate Family Groups and Reach Academy, and has been a member of the Communications and Women’s Ministries. D’Aunn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, planning, and organizing events.
