As the Communications Ministry Director, Daphne Flute’s job is to make sure Northeast Bible Church members can’t say, “I didn’t know that.” She orchestrates a team that produces every NEBC tweet, email, post, video or newsletter. They highlight church events and initiatives that give members opportunities to connect, grow and serve. Daphne humbly tries to ensure that team members have what they need to keep moving ahead for God’s glory. She brings organization and heart to the table.

Her goal is twofold: help each ministry worker grow closer to the Lord through his or her service and present communication that’s so powerful it draws folks to Christ while increasing their knowledge and love for Him.

Daphne came to Christ as an adult a few years after graduating from college. She said she’s happy God is patient and not finished with her yet.

A member of the Women’s Ministry, Daphne is a member of the Women’s Ministry and has served in the nursery for approximately seven years and on the Finance Team for three.

The St. Louis native has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master’s in Human Resources Development from Webster University.

Daphne is an Associate Director of Communications with AT&T. In 1993, she moved from Missouri to Texas for her work; first to San Antonio and then to Dallas. Shortly thereafter, her family joined NEBC.

Daphne loves the Lord and enjoys roller skating, listening to smooth jazz with her hubby, laughing and spending time with her family. 

She and Charles Flute Jr., her husband for more than 26 years, have two children: Charles III and Katrina, both are in college.
